A film about family, memory, home, stewardship and the passage of time

Twenty to thirty minutes.

Interviews of the architect, the contractor and the historian speak about what makes the home special, what was kept and why. Old photographs dissolve into the same rooms today. And your own words, as much or as little as you choose, share the story of the family that has lived here and cared for it.

  • The finished documentary, 20 to 30 minutes
  • Interviews with the architect, the contractor and the historian
  • You sharing your story, in sit-down and walking conversations at the house
  • The house filmed from the air and room by room
  • Then-and-now pairings of your family photographs with the same views today
  • Every interview preserved in full, separate from the film
  • Delivery in a handmade koa box with archival drives, an easy-to-play copy, and a Permanent.org archive, storage up to 150GB.
